The Weight of Darkness

The king is dead, yet his legacy lives on.

For ages, their prison, the mighty palisades have now become a key to their survival. Weary eyes atop the walls remain trained for hints of the darkness that receded to the west. Hidden in both plain sight and in the shadows, forces work to sabotage their modest measure of peace. Do they have more to fear from outside, or within?
