In the Undying Empire’s continued, remorseless pursuit of Laran, they sent a new, deadly enemy.

The patchwork men. Assembled from the parts of dead warriors and brutal beasts, these monsters are the deadliest Laran has faced. And if that wasn’t bad enough, a mysterious woman offers to heal his paralyzed legs by making him a patchwork man himself.

Laran continues his fight against the lich emperor and his search for the cryptic Vestiges that grant him system breaking abilities. He will use his wits to build powerful devices, and his shadow magic and supreme stealth abilities to defeat these new enemies. Most important of all, Daisy, his seven-foot tall minotaur companion.

The empire may be out to get him, but Laran vows to get them first. He’ll learn fast, befriend worthy companions, and acquire the power necessary to destroy the lich emperor before it destroys him.
